Located along the sunny coast of Southern Sri Lanka, Green Turtle Villa is an exclusive beachside property, only a one and a half hour drive out of Colombo. Situated next to the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery, with its own in-house chef and staff, the Villa’s contemporary style is designed to soothe your mind and soul. Its residential pooches; Lilly, Lola, Polo, Marco and Tarzan, are sure to make your stay one to remember. On most days you are likely to see the turtles laying eggs on the beach under the moonlight.

Moonstone mine tour

Moonstone has been mined in these sweltering forests forever and the moonstone mines, little more than muddy rabbit holes, 6m or 7m long, are fascinating as is the process of filtering out the precious stones, cutting them up and polishing them up ready for sale.

Visitors can be close to new born turtle hatchlings and help release them in to the sea.

Galle fort

It is a historical, archaeological and architectural heritage monument, which even after more than 423 years maintains a polished appearance, due to extensive reconstruction work done by Archaeological Department of Sri Lanka. Shopping and restaurants inside the fort makes it a must visit place during your stay

It's my second time I book this villa in less than 2 months - That villa is just magical , the interior is simply exceptional ! When I first arrived I was shocked to see that it was literally 4000 hectares with a private Beach that never ends along with 2 gigantic Gardens surround by Palm trees all over - the Team especially Pali are keepers and tool so much care of the entire group. Words can't describe how amazingly beautiful this Villa was. Everything was just perfect from the moment we stepped in and were greeted by the top-notch staff headed by the oh-so helpful Pali. Whatever you needed, Pali and the crew were there to make it happen; from sea-food feast right on the beach to European-style breakfast back in the villa; One word...YUM! The villa is humongous and most importantly so clean with each of the 4 bedrooms having its own bathroom, giving you all the privacy needed. The host has great taste and you can tell that she took the time to pick up each and every single detail in the house. Finally, to add to the awesomeness of the house, we had our own guarding dogs that are just the cutest and don't be surprised if they laid next to you to tan or just accompany you throughout your trip.
